Dear friends, 

For Cochrane Chile, over these past 5 years we have been very proud and have made a tremendous effort to put together the 2019 Cochrane Colloquium Santiago for you and for the entire Cochrane Community. In this process, we have gotten to know and worked with some incredible teams from Cochrane CET, Cochrane Iberoamerica, and the entire network of Cochrane collaborators, made up of people who have selflessly given their time so we could have an excellent conference. However, we never could have imagined that the Colloquium would transform into a virtual meeting, one that could be open to the entire community and experienced not just by those who could have travelled to Chile, but by all interested visitors and collaborators from around the world. 

We believe that the Virtual #CochraneSantiago Colloquium is setting a precedent for future Colloquia to be more open to the community, have broader audiences, and persist over time to be explored and enjoyed. The Virtual Colloquium contents will be available on the Colloquium website for everyone who would like to visit them in the future. Our most sincere thanks to Cochrane CET for enabling us to have this Virtual #CochraneSantiago Colloquium, and to all who submitted their work for this event. Finally, thank you to all who have participated in the Virtual Colloquium this week. 

We hope that, in this new format, we have been able to convey to you the love and effort we wanted to capture in every detail of our 2019 Cochrane Colloquium Santiago. We hope to see you soon, in person, at the 2020 Cochrane Colloquium Toronto, and we thank every one of you for the support you have given us.
